Yes, both. Every ticket you hold goes into the main property draw and stays in it until the competition closes.

Each ticket also goes into one Mini Weekly Giveaway, the one running in the week it lands. It does not carry into the weeks after that.

Subscriptions work the same way. Tickets are issued once a month, so they go into the giveaway running in the week they land.

Weekly winners are drawn at random using Random.org, and free postal entries go in on exactly the same basis as paid ones.

The winner is drawn at random electronically using Random.org, a trusted independent platform that generates random numbers from atmospheric noise. Every ticket has an equal chance, so prizes are awarded strictly in accordance with the laws of chance.

The main draw takes place within three days of the closing date, in the presence of an independent solicitor, and it is streamed live on our social media channels. The winning ticket number is published straight afterwards. If your ticket is the one drawn, we do not just send an email, we call you personally on the day.

Mini Weekly Giveaway winners are chosen the same way, using Random.org from all valid tickets held at the time of that draw. We record those draws on screen and post them to our social channels, so anyone can see the process and the result for themselves. Some weekly prizes are arranged by PrizeShark, our prize fulfilment partner, who may contact winners from tramwaypath@prizeshark.com. A genuine email about a prize will never ask you for a payment, a fee to release your prize, your full card details or your password. If you are ever unsure whether a message is genuine, email contact@tramwaypath.co.uk before you reply.

Every draw we have ever run went through Random.org, and the record of each one is public and permanent. Each record shows how many tickets were in that draw and which number came out, so you can look back at our previous draws before you enter and check ours afterwards. The records are not ours to edit. You can find them all on our winners page.

Yes. Once legal completion has happened you are the legal owner, and you are free to sell it, rent it out or transfer it to someone else. There are no restrictions from us on any of that.

We do have to transfer the property into the name of the person whose ticket was drawn first, because that is who has won it, so we cannot transfer it straight to a family member on a winner's behalf. After that it is yours and your solicitor can handle whatever you would like to do next. Selling, letting or gifting a property can all have tax consequences, so do take your own independent advice before you decide.

All tickets are emailed to entrants, with randomly generated alpha-numeric ticket numbers.

You can also see them in your account. Log in, open the Tickets tab, and every ticket you hold for the draw is listed there. That is the quickest way to check your numbers, and it is worth doing first if your email has not come through yet.

If your email has not arrived within 24 hours of purchase, or 7 days for postal entries, two quick checks catch almost every case.

First, look in your spam or junk folder. Automated emails land there more often than you would think, so it is worth searching for 'Tramway Path' across your whole mailbox rather than just scrolling the inbox.

Second, check you are looking in the right inbox. Your tickets go to the email address on your order, which is not always the one you check most. If you paid through PayPal, for example, they may have gone to the address held on your PayPal account rather than the one you normally use.

If they are not in either place, email contact@tramwaypath.co.uk and we will get a duplicate sorted for you right away.

Your tickets are always in your account, so if you plan to watch the draw live you can simply open the Tickets tab and follow along without hunting through your email.

Click 'Enter now' to choose how many tickets you would like. On the next page, enter your contact and billing details to complete your order.

You can buy in two ways, a one-off bundle or a monthly subscription. A subscription means your tickets are issued automatically once a month, on the same date each month, so you do not have to remember to buy. Either way the tickets work exactly the same. There is nothing extra to buy and no upgrade to sign up for.

You can also enter free by post, with no purchase necessary. Free postal entries are given ticket numbers in exactly the same way, go into exactly the same draws, and have exactly the same chance of being drawn. Full details are on our Postal Entry page.

However you enter, you are randomly assigned a ticket number, which is emailed to you. Every ticket you hold goes into the main property draw and stays in it until the competition closes. The competition closes at 11.59pm UK time on 30 November 2026, and the draw takes place within three days of that.

The Mini Weekly Giveaways run alongside it and close each week at 6pm on the Sunday. Any tickets that land before then go into that week's draw.

That closing date is fixed. We will never extend a competition because ticket sales have been slower than we hoped, and our terms and conditions say so directly. The only thing that could ever move a closing date is something genuinely outside our control that made it impossible to run the draw as planned, and if that ever happened we would publish the reason and the new date here on the site.
