TERMS & CONDITIONS

"COMPETITION": The Competition operated by the Promoter to which these Terms and Conditions apply, wherein Entrants submit entries via the website www.tramwaypath.co.uk.

"INSTANT WIN GAME" / "GAME": The Tramway Path Instant Win Scratch Card game operated at www.tramwaypath.co.uk/pages/instantwin, whereby Participants purchase digital Scratch Cards each containing a guaranteed prize.

"GRAND PRIZE": £500,000 paid to the Winner strictly for the purpose of purchasing a residential property anywhere within the United Kingdom. The funds will be transferred via a UK-regulated solicitor and must be used toward the purchase of a property. The Promoter will not provide the £500,000 as unrestricted cash.

"SCRATCH CARD": A single digital instant win game card purchased by a Participant via the Website, which contains a guaranteed prize pre-determined at the point of purchase.

"CASH PRIZE": A monetary prize of up to £500, credited to the Participant's Wallet and available for withdrawal in accordance with the Website's standard withdrawal procedures.

"SITE CREDIT": A non-cash credit of up to £500, issued to the Participant's Wallet and redeemable only against future Scratch Card purchases on the Website. Site Credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

"WALLET": The Participant's account balance held on the Website.

"PROMOTER": TRAMWAY PATH, which is the operating name of TRWP Limited, a private limited company organised under the laws of England and Wales, with company number 14803417.

"ENTRY": An answer submitted to the Question by the Entrant to obtain an opportunity to win the Prize.

"ENTRANT": Any natural person (not including a limited company, partnership, or limited liability partnership) who enters the Competition through the Website and who must be over the age of eighteen (18).

"PARTICIPANT": Any natural person aged 18 or over who purchases a Scratch Card via the Website for the purpose of playing the Instant Win Game.

"WINNER": The Entrant chosen at random on or after the Closing Date who will receive the Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

"MINIMUM NUMBER OF PAID TICKET BUNDLES REQUIRED": 180,000

"TICKET BUNDLES": Multiple ticket entries into the Competition, which are purchased collectively.

By entering the Competition and/or participating in the Instant Win Game via the Website, Entrants and Participants are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Upon entering the Competition, all Entrants must submit all contact details requested by the Promoters (which must include a valid e-mail address) which will be used for the following purposes:

to notify the Winner that they have won the prize;
to post the Winner's name and town of residence on the Website; and
to comply with the Privacy Policy.

All entrants and Participants are solely and completely responsible for providing the Promoters with accurate and current contact details.

Promoters will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to make contact with any Entrant or Participant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the Entrants or otherwise.

The Entrants, Participants, and the Promoters recognise that the Promoters may use contact details and other data including personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998 supplied by the Entrants and Participants to the Promoters to administer the Website, conduct the Competition, and operate the Instant Win Game according to these Terms and Conditions.

The Entrants, Participants, and the Promoters also recognise that the Promoters may (either by choice or at the request of a third party) also disclose this information to relevant third parties for the purposes of the prevention of fraud, money laundering, legal or other financial or regulatory reasons. The Competition and the Instant Win Game are operated by the Promoters.

The Competition is open for entry to all persons aged 18 or over. The Instant Win Game is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Both the Competition and the Instant Win Game exclude the Promoters, their family, their friends, agents, employees, professional advisers or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the Website or the conduct or administration of the Competition or Instant Win Game in any way, shape or form.

The Instant Win Game is a gambling product. Participants must be 18 years of age or over. It is an offence for anyone under the age of 18 to gamble. The Promoter is committed to responsible gambling. Entries made by the Entrants to the Competition will only be valid if made via the Website or via postal entry. Postal entries must comply with the requirements stated on the postal tickets page.

By entering into the Competition or participating in the Instant Win Game, all Entrants and Participants acknowledge that any paid or free entries they make do not guarantee in any way that they will win the Grand Prize.

The Promoters do not in any way guarantee the value of the Prize.

Only completed Entries will be entered into the Competition.

As a condition of entering the Competition or participating in the Instant Win Game, Entrants and Participants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if an Entrant or Participant enters the Competition or plays the Instant Win Game unlawfully.

The Entrants, Participants, and the Promoters recognise that the Competition, the Instant Win Game, their administration and all associated activities are governed by English Law and the Promoters, Entrants, and Participants recognise that the County or High Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of the Competition, the Instant Win Game, or their administration.

By entering the Competition or participating in the Instant Win Game, Entrants and Participants warrant that all information they submit is accurate, true, current and complete. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any Entrant or Participant (entirely at their own discretion) if there are reasonable grounds to believe they have acted in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.

There is no limit to the number of entries that any one person can make into the Competition via this website. There is no limit to the number of Scratch Cards a Participant may purchase in the Instant Win Game.

The Promoter is not responsible or liable in any way for the Valuation and makes no representation or warranty in respect of its accuracy.

All Entries will become the property of the Promoters on receipt and will not be returned.

The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason.

Main Competition Prize

The purpose of the Competition is to win the Grand Prize. The Winner will receive £500,000 (five hundred thousand pounds sterling) issued strictly for the purpose of purchasing a residential property anywhere within the United Kingdom, subject to the conditions below.

The funds will be transferred via a UK-regulated solicitor and must be used solely toward the purchase of a residential property within the United Kingdom. The £500,000 will not be provided as unrestricted cash, and the Promoter reserves the right to require reasonable evidence of the intended property transaction before releasing funds.

All payments and transfers will be made in pounds sterling.

English is the only language in which an Entrant may submit their entry.

As part of the Competition, the Promoter may run a separate Mini Weekly Giveaway, whereby a different prize will be awarded each week during the Competition Period, as advertised on the Website. The details, value, and specific terms of each Mini Weekly Giveaway prize will be clearly stated on the Website and may vary from week to week. Mini Weekly Giveaway prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative shall be offered unless expressly stated on the Website. Participation in the Mini Weekly Giveaway does not affect an Entrant's chances of winning the Grand Prize.

• An appointed solicitor chosen by the Promoter for the purchase of the Prize must be used by the Winner.
• The funds for the Prize will not be transferred directly to the Winner but will be transferred to the appointed solicitor for the purchase of the Prize.
• One or more residential dwellings can be purchased within the Prize total.
• The winner of the first prize must select a property which £500,000 or less.
• The process to determine the Winner of each draw will be carried out within three days of the closing date and a final decision will be made on the same day.

Instant Win Game Prizes

Every Scratch Card purchased through the Instant Win Game contains a guaranteed prize — there are no losing cards and no blank reveals. Prizes are pre-determined at the point of purchase.

• Prizes consist of either a Cash Prize or Site Credit, up to a maximum value of £500 per Scratch Card.
• Cash Prizes will be credited to the Participant's Wallet immediately upon scratching and may be withdrawn in accordance with the Website's standard withdrawal procedures.
• Site Credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Site Credit may only be used to purchase further Scratch Cards on the Website.
• Prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered in place of Site Credit unless required by applicable law.
• The Promoter reserves the right to vary the prize structure, values, or split between Cash Prizes and Site Credit at any time, subject to maintaining the guarantee that every Scratch Card contains a prize.
• In the event of a technical error resulting in an incorrect prize being displayed or credited, the Promoter reserves the right to correct the error and award the prize that was correctly pre-assigned to that Scratch Card at the point of purchase.

Potential Winners of any prize will be contacted using the email address used to enter the Prize Draw or purchase a Scratch Card, and may be awarded the Prize(s) subject to confirmation and verification of eligibility. Potential Winners must respond to any Winner notification email within 96 hours of it being sent. Failure to respond within the stated timeframe may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any Prize.

The process to determine the Winner of each draw will be carried out within three days of the closing date and a final decision will be made on the same day.

To conclude an entry into the Competition, an Entrant will be asked to provide their contact details (including postal and e-mail addresses and a telephone number) and card payment details. Once the Entry is submitted, the Entrant's card payment will be electronically approved.

To purchase a Scratch Card in the Instant Win Game, a Participant will be asked to provide their contact details and payment details. Scratch Cards are available from £5 per card. Each Scratch Card may only be scratched once — no re-scratches or further attempts are permitted once a card has been revealed.

When the Maximum Number Of Paid Ticket Bundles or the Closing Date is reached, the Competition will close; however the Promoters reserve the right to extend the closing date by up to 2 months at their discretion.

All Entries to the Competition and all Scratch Card purchases are final and no refunds shall be made at any time or for any reason, except in the case of entries submitted after the Closing Date, or where the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or misuse in relation to a Scratch Card purchase (in which case the Promoter may cancel the purchase and issue a refund at its discretion prior to the card being revealed).

The winner of the Grand Prize will be the Entrant whose details are randomly drawn before an audience of invited guests, members of the Press and in the presence of a Solicitor.

The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about the result of the Competition following the determination of the Winner as described above.

The Winner may be required to forward a copy of their passport or driving licence to the Promoters to prove their identity and that their Entry was made using a valid debit/credit card belonging to the Entrant or used with the express authorisation of the card holder.

Each Entrant agrees that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for any goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to this Prize Competition.

If the Winner cannot be contacted by the Promoter within 21 days of being notified of their status as the Winner by email, telephone and mail to the contact details submitted in their entry, the Promoter shall be entitled to award the Prize to an Alternative Entrant selected by drawing another winning entry at random in the same method as described above ("The Alternate Winner"). The Alternate Winner shall have 7 days from notification of their status by the Promoters to communicate their acceptance of the Prize.

The Winner must decide on the property they wish to be awarded within 60 days. If the Winner is unable to do so the Promoter shall be entitled to award the Prize to an Alternative Entrant selected by drawing another winning entry at random in the same method as described above ("The Alternate Winner").

The Winner must take all reasonable steps to transfer the property into their name within 21 days of receipt of a signed transfer form (TR1) from the current owner.

The Winner agrees to media coverage following the live draw, which includes but not limited to being featured in a newspaper article and being featured in a social media post.

If the Maximum Number of Paid Ticket Bundles to the Competition is not equal to the Minimum Number of Paid Ticket Bundles received as at the closing date, the Competition will close and the proceeds will either be deemed sufficient to award the house as a prize at the discretion of the Promoters, or the competition will be extended.

As per section 4(iv) the Competition can also be closed when the Maximum Number of Paid Ticket Bundles is reached.

The Promoters will be entitled to retain a portion of the Entry Fees to cover operational and marketing costs. The remaining balance is referred to as "the Prize Fund." If the Minimum Number of Paid Ticket Bundles has not been reached, the Prize Fund, net of operational and marketing costs, will be awarded in place of the Prize and distributed to the winning Entrant.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the Instant Win Game at any time without notice in the event of a technical fault, suspected fraud, regulatory requirement, or other circumstances outside its reasonable control. Where a Scratch Card has been purchased but not yet scratched at the point of suspension or withdrawal, the Promoter will honour the prize contained within that card or issue a full refund at its discretion.

The Winner(s) agrees to allow the Promoters to display his or her name on the Website in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The name, age and town of residence of the Winner will be posted on the Website for the purposes of announcing the Winner of the Competition within 24 hours of the Winner being determined.

Entrants and Participants authorise the Promoters to enter their personal details into their database and to use the information in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

The Promoters reserve the right to cancel the Competition at any time either before or after ticket bundles have been sold. If the Competition is cancelled, the Promoters will return the Entry Fees to each Entrant (either by bank card refund or by cheque and in one combined payment where several entries have been made by a competitor). Where the Entry Fee is returned, the Promoter shall have no further liability to the Entrant or to any other person.

The Promoters make no representation or warranty as to the Valuation or the Grand Prize, its structural or cosmetic condition or its ability to be sold. Entrants should make and rely on their own enquiries and legal advice about the Prize before entering the Competition.

Save for death or personal injury, the Promoters will not be liable for any loss (including economic loss) suffered to or sustained by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of the Promoters, nor will their servants or their agents in developing, planning and administrating the Competition or the Instant Win Game, distributing any Prize to the Winner, or following the distribution of the Prize. The Promoters accept no liability for errors or omissions contained within the Prize details, description or specification or any other part of the Website.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter's total liability to any Participant in connection with the Instant Win Game shall not exceed the total value of the Scratch Cards purchased by that Participant.

The Promoters will not be liable for any loss suffered by an Entrant or Participant as a result of incomplete entries or purchases, failed computer communications or for any loss suffered as a result of use of the Website.

The Promoters do not accept responsibility for entries or Scratch Card purchases which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, other malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.

These competition rules shall not create or be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between any Entrant or Participant and the Promoters.

The Promoters reserve the right to monitor the use of any promotional codes, discounts, or offers. If it is determined that a discount, promotion, or offer has been misused, exploited, or excessively used beyond reasonable intent, the Promoters may, at their sole discretion:

Cancel or refuse any related orders or entries.
Revoke any benefits, discounts, or promotions applied in violation of these terms.
Disqualify the Entrant or Participant from the Competition or Instant Win Game.

Any attempt to manipulate, hack, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Instant Win Game or the Website is strictly prohibited. Any prizes obtained through fraudulent means will be forfeited, and the Promoter reserves the right to seek recovery of any such prizes already paid out and to refer the matter to the relevant authorities.

An entry or Scratch Card purchase shall be declared void (without any refund being given) if the Entrant or Participant engages in:

any form of fraud (actual or apparent)
fraudulent misrepresentation
fraudulent concealment
hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the website, or
amending, or unauthorised use of, any of the code that constitutes the Website.

The Promoter is committed to responsible gambling in connection with the Instant Win Game. The Promoter reserves the right to impose spending limits, cooling-off periods, self-exclusion, or account restrictions in the interests of player welfare. 2. Our Response
   Upon receiving your complaint, we will:
   
   Acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days.
   Aim to resolve your complaint within 15 working days after acknowledging it. If more time is required, we will inform you of the revised timeline.
   
3. Escalation Process
   If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate the complaint by replying to our email and outlining your wish to escalate it. We will review your complaint at a senior level and respond within 15 working days.
